nedda
Every time I try to install appdb universal installer it gives error "unable to download app" "appdb installer could not be installed this time" iPhone 6+ Jail broken taig iOS 8.3 App sync unified installed Please help Hello, by the time you wrote the post, i believe Appsync Unified wasn't updated to fully support iOS 8.3. If you got it from our repo, wait until we push an update to version 5.5.1-1 (latest). In the meanwhile, be sure to install "Apple File Conduit 2" from Cydia. If you really can't wait to get our Installer, you could still switch to non jailbroken mode! EDIT: Appsync Unified has been updated in our repo! URL: https://r.appdb.to. Just refresh your cydia sources and update the package. After a reboot, everything should be working. abadeeyy@gmail.com

nedda
Installed latest app sync unified, apple file conduit. Rebooted... Then tried to install the universal installer .... Failed with same error That is odd. Could you try switching to non-jailbroken mode and see the install works?
mishipal
In non jail broken mode it says your device is not pro. There is one thing I notice is that when I install the universal installer 1.0.6 from appdb and it fails then if I check for updates on appdb.to it shows 2 updates for universal installer and it shows that I have installed 1.0.0 on my iPhone
Skn
I am having problems with the universal installer. I've followed the tut, but every time I try to open the app, it immediately crashes. I've done all that has been mentioned above without any success. It's an awesome feature for sure, and I know I will get it working with this great community. Take care. thuthi
mishipal
@skn I also was able to install it once completely but the app crashed when I was opening it. I deleted it and tried to reinstall ... Failed every time. In my opinion app sync is misbehaving 😩

Skn
Hey, I'm still having problems with the universal installer. It doesn't crash on me now, but after adding the bookmarklet correctly, going to a random link, hitting the install via Universal Installer, nothing happens. I'm never transferred over to the Installer App. If you need anymore info let me know. Regards Skn

The Installer only works for the supported filehosts and only for links provided by appdb
Skn
Hey nedda, By saying random link, I was just implying that I would go to a random app to download (nothing I had installed on my iDevice) such as the top apps, and then clicking on the filehost link instead of only the apps I had installed. I'm sorry for the miscommunication, and I really appreciate the reply. I'll keep checking this topic, because everyone here at appdb is one great community. Take care.
